Our work with the Digital Product Passport is part of our commitment to improving transparency and efficiency in production. Originally, we relied on separate systems for different parts of manufacturing that did not communicate effectively, leading to inefficiencies and limited visibility into the product lifecycle.
The goal of the project is to create an integrated platform that connects the entire production process. By assigning each product a unique ID, we can track and manage information throughout its lifecycle—including material specifications, environmental impact, and a complete recycling guide.
Since the project's inception, we have made significant progress. We have developed a prototype that offers a fully integrated digital thread, enhancing both transparency and operational efficiency. This innovation not only meets our immediate needs but also establishes a foundation for adapting to future technological developments.
The platform is now fully developed, and we are currently in the phase of cleaning and structuring our data to ensure it is easier to manage moving forward. We are also importing supplier data to build a connected data chain. Although the project remains in development, the core framework is in place, and we are now fine-tuning it to align with the evolving regulations for optimal performance.
We are also collaborating with Sigma Technology Solutions, whose expertise in software development and digital solutions has been crucial in supporting our work toward a more circular economy and meeting the requirements for the Digital Product Passport.
We expect to launch our solution in early 2027.
