Alexander Lervik is one of Sweden’s most internationally recognized designers, known for his distinctive approach where function, narrative, and conceptual form intersect.
He has held numerous solo exhibitions, including at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, Sven-Harrys Art Museum, Vida Museum, and the major retrospective “Inside the Head of Alexander Lervik” at Kulturhuset Stockholm, which featured over 200 of his design objects.
Lervik’s work is represented in the permanent collections of leading institutions such as the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, the National Museum in Oslo, and the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg.
His work has been widely awarded, and in 2023 alone he received ten international design awards, including recognition in the Global Design Awards, originally established by MoMA NY.
Alexander Lervik collaborates with several of the most prominent Scandinavian design brands, as well as leading manufacturers in Italy. Alongside his industrial design work, he has developed a significant body of collectible design. One of his most well-known pieces is MYBrain—a precise replica of his own brain—described by Bukowskis as “the first signature object in Scandinavia created using 3D printing technology.”
In spring2026, he will exhibit at the newly opened A4A Gallery in Brooklyn, New York.
