Safety comes first

Safety is always the starting point. Before anything else, we want everyone to go home feeling just as good as when they arrived—preferably better. We work actively to prevent injuries and create routines that make it easy to do the right thing, without it becoming complicated or stressful.

That includes:

  • Clear safety instructions and signage in production areas
  • Training and refreshers when new equipment or materials are introduced
  • Open communication about risks and safety improvements

It’s not about ticking boxes—it’s about keeping each other safe.

A team effort

We see the work environment as something we build together. Everyone’s experience counts. If someone notices something that doesn’t feel right, we want them to speak up. If someone has a better way to lift, store, clean, or communicate—let’s hear it. Good ideas don’t care where they come from.

We believe small, ongoing improvements make a big difference over time, and many of our best changes have come straight from the people doing the job.

An active Safety Committee

We have a dedicated Safety Committee that brings together representatives from different parts of the company. They meet several times a year to go through safety-related topics, follow up on reported issues, and look at how things are working in practice.

What makes the meetings especially valuable is that they include safety walkthroughs—on-the-ground inspections in the areas we work in every day. These help us spot both obvious and more subtle risks, and make sure we’re not missing things that can slip through the cracks in a regular meeting.

A broader view of well-being

Work environment isn’t just about helmets and hearing protection. It’s also about things like:

  • Ergonomics – having the right tools and setups to avoid strain
  • Noise and lighting – making sure it’s not too loud, too dark, or too much
  • Mental well-being – creating a respectful and supportive atmosphere where people feel heard

We know that these things go hand in hand with doing good work and wanting to stick around for the long run.

Always moving forward

We don’t claim to have everything perfect—but we’re committed to getting better. That means trying new things, learning from experience, and being open to change when something isn’t working. Safety and well-being will always be a priority for us, and we’re proud of the culture we’re building together.
